Radius Gauges
Radius Gauges – Precision Fingerboard & Bridge Tools
Designed for luthiers and guitar makers who demand accuracy, these radius gauges make it easy to identify and verify the curvature of fingerboards, frets, bridges, and saddles throughout the building and setup process.
The gauges are made from high-quality opaque white acrylic, offering a clean, lightweight, durable, and easy-to-read tool for everyday workshop use. Clearly marked radius measurements allow you to quickly check your work and maintain a consistent fingerboard profile from the nut to the end of the neck.
A radius gauge is especially useful when working with compound-radius fingerboards, where the curvature gradually changes along the length of the fingerboard. It can also be used for checking bridge saddle profiles and other curved surfaces during guitar construction and setup.
Available in popular radius specifications:
7.25”, 9.5”, 10”, 12”, 14”, 15”, 16” and 20”.
Available individually or as a complete set. Custom radius specifications can also be made upon request.
A simple but essential tool for achieving precise, consistent results in every stage of guitar making and setup.
